Overview of November 11:
Travelling to the border town of Quaim, the journeymen reflect on the past few weeks, the friends they had made in Iraq, and what lies ahead in Syria. As of yet, they are still unsure of the status of a support crew, camels, tents, food, or a guide.

Late in the evening Phil Elkins shows up at camp. Phil has been working for weeks in Jordan and Syria to make arrangements for a support team to provide meals and tents, vehicles and camels. Because of the difficulties of communication from Syria to Iraq, Phil decided to come to reassure that everything would be ready and waiting just inside Syria.
