Overview of November 12:
After a lingering breakfast at camp and packing all their gear, the journeymen bid a few goodbyes to their new friends who would not be able to accompany them to the border of Syria. Exchanging small gifts—tokens of their freindship—the journeymen head for the border town of Al-Qaim, gathering a small entourage along their way. Some more sad farewells at the border checkpoint, and the journeymen cross into Syria, closing the Iraq leg of the Journey of the Magi.
