Overview of November 24:
A long day of arduous travel sees the journeymen westward bound, out of Palmyra and back into the open, barren desert. The path they follow is described as a "shortcut" that proves to be anything but. Rough terrain, large rocks, small rocks, deep wadi's, or ravines, no food or water from the distant support vehicles ware down the journeymen and camels in short order. At one point one of the camels stumbles, falls, and nearly dumps John Vencer into a wadi.

After a grueling day of travel the journeymen return to Palmyra for soccer match with the local school. Despite the long day, worn out feet and twisted ankles, the journeymen win the friendly game.
